Start of 9th Islamic month of Ramazan 1431 A.H

'O' People! the Month of Allah (Ramazan has approached you with His mercies andblessings. This is the month that is the best of all the month in the estimationof Allah. Its days are best among the days; its nights are best among the nights. Its hours are best month in which you havebeen invited by Him. You have been, in this month, selected as the recipients ofthe honours from Allah, the Merciful.In this holy month, when you breathe, it has the thawab (heavenly reward) of 'Tasbeeh'.

(possible date)10th - Death of Hazrat Khadija(a.s.)11th - Moakhat - Brotherhood between Muhajireen and Ansaar13th, 14th and 15th - Ayyam-e-Bayz - the bright days15th - Birth of Imam Hasan(a.s.) - the 2nd Holy Imam - (3 A.H.)17th - Victory at Battle of Badr - (2 A.H.)19th Evening - First probable night of Qadr - Shab-e-Qadr19th - Youm-e-Zarbat - Imam Ali(a.s.) got injured from attack duringprayers (40 A.H.)20th – Conquest of Makkah (8 A.H.)21st Evening - Second probable night of Qadr - Shab-e-Qadr21st - Shahadat of Imam Ali(a.s.) - (40 A.H.)23rd Evening - Third probable night of Qadr - Shab-e-Qadr27th Evening - Another probable night of Qadr - Shab-e-Qadr28th September - Jumatul Wida - last Friday of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak -International day of QudsInshallah separate detail emails will be sent on each occasion duringthis month.Please note that some of the dates mentioned above are not definitedates but some traditions suggest these dates for those events.Detailed Aamals, daily duas, duas for each night of Ramzan and aamalof Jumatul Wida (the entire Ramzan package) is available at www.ziaraat.com.Here is the direct link : http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramzan.php1) Duas on the advent of Ramazan to be recited upon sighting the moon.http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramzan01.php2) Common duas to be recited in each night of Ramazan.http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramzan02.php3) Dua-e-Saharhttp://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramsahar.php4) Duas after every Wajib prayer during Ramazan.http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramzan03.php5) Duas for each day of Ramazan.http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramdua01.php (Days 1 to 10)http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramdua02.php (Days 11 to 20)http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramdua03.php (Days 21 to 30)6) Duas in the last 10 nights of Ramazan.http://www.ziaraat.com/aamal/ramzan/ramlast10.php7) Aamal of Shab-e-Qadr - http://www.ziaraat.com/events/shabqadr/shabqadr.phpSpecial note about fasting on Yawm-ul-Shak(doubt if Ramzan has started)==========================================http://islamic-laws.com/fast_rules.htm30th day of Shaban is called Yamul Shak (doubtful day) if you do notreceive news about Ramadan moonsighting on 29th evening or before theend of 30th day.It is haram to fast on 30th Shaban with the intention of 1st ofRamadan.It is Mustahab to keep fast on 30th Shaban but the Niyyat (intention)should be either:(a) with the Niyyat of Mafiz-zimma (to discharge my responsibility),or(b) with the Niyyat of any Qaza fast of previous Ramadan, if any, or(c) with the Niyyat of Mustahab Shaban fast.If you do a double Niyyat of fasting (i.e. 30th Shaban or 1stRamadan), then such a Niyyat is wrong according Ayatullah Khui, but itis OK according to Ayt Khomeini and Ayt Seestani.If you are fasting on 30th Shaban, and if, at any time on that day,you get the news of moon sighting of 29th Shaban, then you mustimmediately change Niyyat to Niyyat of 1st of Ramadan.If you have fasted on 30th Shaban (with any Niyyat), and afterwardsyou come to know that it was 1st of Ramadan, then your fast willautomatically be counted as fast of 1st of Ramadan.If you are not fasting on 30th Shaban, then following actions arenecessary on you:(a) If you get the news after sunset of 30th Shaban or later that themoon had been actually sighted on evening of 29th Shaban, then youhave to keep Qaza of 1st Ramadan after the month of Ramadan.(b) If you get the news of moon sighting after Zawal time (Islamic mid-day), then it is haram to eat or drink or do anything, which is notallowed during fasting from that time onward until Iftar time on thatday, and you have to do Qaza of 1st of Ramadan later on.(c) If you get the news of moon sighting before Zawal time (Islamicmid-day), then(i) if you have not eaten or drunk anything or done anything whichbreaks fast, you must immediately do the Niyyat of fasting of Ramadanfor that day,(ii) if you have eaten or drunk something or have done anything whichbreaks fast, then you have to act as if fasting for the rest of theday, and then do Qaza of 1st of Ramadan later on.
